First-year head coach Kyle Basista is chomping at the bit to see what the John Carroll men's cross country team has in store for the 2014 season.

Former Grand Valley State standout Jake Alexander has joined the John Carroll University track & field and cross country staff as announced by first-year head coach Kyle Basista.

Kyle Basista, who has been an assistant coach the past five seasons for the John Carroll University men's and women's track & field and cross country programs, has been named head coach for those programs effective immediately.

The John Carroll University cross country teams will be hosting a summer camp from July 10-13. The camp is designed for boys and girls entering grades 7-12 and is open to both individuals and teams. There is the option of staying overnight.
